This is why I live in an older building. The amenities in new buildings just aren't worth the cramped living space and useless kitchens.1 bedroom at 473 sq feet? That's not even a good size for a studio unit.
There's not a single floorplan here that isn't horribly pinched and awkward. Are architectural firms just handing the interior layouts to their novices or new hires or something? So many of them now are absolutely torturous. All the names of rooms are there, but little of the real thing. "Den", "Living Room", "Kitchen" have become about as substantial as "Iconic", "Exclusive" and "High-End".
Beautiful from the outside, inside dystopian hellscape.
I remember the 1 and 2 bedrooms of 50's-70's buildings and weep.
