To develop a 10-storey mixed-use building with commercial use on the ground floor, and 126 residential dwelling units above.

The site is currently occupied by a 1-storey commercial plaza.

Only 10 storeys, pretty modest. So it should be approved fairly quickly then? Another 126 units, so around 200 more people in the downtown spending money. Good news!

I hate this building. A ten storey building here with commercial would be a welcome addition. I'd be able to see it rise on my commute too. Would add a lot of people to a historically quiet part of the downtown too.

I don't think that would be inappropriate honestly. So long as there isn't an equivalent amount of parking. This is an optimal location for a low parking ratio. It's walking distance to Go, along the busiest bicycle corridor in the city, and has quick access to both Burlington Transit and HSR, especially with the Re-Envision HSR service.
