How the city allowed them to be defaced with aluminum sidings, hideous signs, etc showed the lack of civic pride prevalent in the past 8 decades or so. Luckily that seems to be changing, although we’ll have to live with the desecration for at least a decade or two more, until all of them are redeveloped (with at least partial preservation/ restoration of the heritage buildings).There really are fantastic rows of 'Victorian' storefronts lining Ymge Street. They are a treasure.
How does CentreCourt keep things moving so fast on all their projects? Craziness.

Perhaps it's an architectural desecration, but on the other hand that warm cadmium yellow sure pops.
