Simplified tower massing and heritage retention are good but oh my god this is so ugly… gone is the colour and in are 4 different monochromatic and busy different facade treatments that read as an AI render gone wrong. Praying this is vended to another developer and is redesigned.

The candidate to buy and actually build something on Yonge is now Concord.
 
The database has been updated to reflect the January resubmission. Main changes are as follows:
  • Storeys increased from 57 to 70
  • Height increased from 190.93m to 237.99m
  • Total residential units increased from 606 to 803
  • Total vehicular parking decreased from 137 to 127
All applications including heritage designation of 625 Yonge remain under appeal with a merit hearing scheduled in August 2024:

In what universe do buyers think these franken-condos look good? These are all shoeboxes with crappy little one-wall kitchenettes with mini induction stoves, minifridges. Is this all investors buying off spec ?
