Not just dated, but very drab and devoid of life.

I have a couple friends living there, the condo board/management is trying to clean up the place as the quality of life has been going downhill. First by prohibiting short term rentals as the place has been a hot bed of AirB&B vacation rentals and lots of unfavourable people and activities going on there. I was surprised that this condo didn't any rules prohibiting short term rentals in the first place like most other condos.

Many condo corporations have restrictions on short term rentals. The trouble is that no one typically goes looking for these things. Many owners will rent out their suites without informing management or the corporation, even though they are required to do so.

As said, there's nothing they can really do about it. People still do it anyways.

Security and management were tired of issuing multiple key fobs and replacing missing fobs to many of the units there, I'm sure they are aware of what is going on.
In my condo we have a limit of one key fob per resident up to a maximum of two key fobs per unit and each key fob requires a form with personal information tied to the fob's user.

If there are stated restrictions outlined in the corporation's declaration, there is a lot that can be done - starting with a lawyer's letter. Condominium buildings are not rooming houses.

10 May 2014: My first thought when I saw this stretched Caddy limo here this morning: Rob Ford: Super Size Me.

Looks like the new "it" restaurant in the city is Collette Grand Cafe, which just opened at the base of Thompson replacing Scarpetta.

Check out some pics from their Facebook.

Apparently it's quite popular with the Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin crowd: $10 for rice pudding.

It doesn't really fit in with the hotel's douchey clientele, which is a good thing! It looks like a proper fine dining restaurant and not a night club.

err why !? I love the built forum in the area, what's wrong with it ?! Or are you just referring to the douchy factor ?

I never really get that though, granted I'm rarely in the area after 5pm, and do a lot of walks there on the weekend during the day, where it looks great ! What happens at night ?

Just not my scene. I tend to avoid that area unless I'm visiting a buddy.
