Proposal for a 30-storey, all residential building on Park Street, just west of Downtown Brampton. The developer is unknown (the land owner is a private person) but the agent is Blackthorn Development Corp. This is the third early proposal for development of the assembled land at 55, 57, 59, 61, 63, and 65 Park Street, where there are currently five houses.
The proposed building includes 300 units (32 1BD, 184 1BD + Den, 28 2BD, 28 2BD + Den, 28 3BD) with no retail and limited amenities (an exercise room, a party room + patio), so I suspect this will be a rental. Architecture isn't much.
The only thing that surprises me is the location. It's not exactly a prime spot even for Brampton, in an older, slightly run-down residential area. It's walkable to the GO station and to downtown at least. It fronts on the OBRY lands, which the city will turn into parkland.
