I feel like they would have placed it somewhere else if they could, I'm guessing it was not possible. It doesn't take an architect or engineer to realize how out of place it looks.

...the thing is though, the first top is nearly on level with the placement of that vent. So if it was an issue which floor they needed to place that on, the work around was on the other side of the tower.

To be clear though, I am no architect or engineer here...so I could be way out of my league in stating any of this. However, this does not stop the same from making oversights and not thinking things through in their final processes...that is, as long as it passes all safety and developer protocols, they are more or less left to do as they please.

...I also haven't ruled out that this was a developer's call where something got VE'd.
