STC has a larger foot print than Fairview mall. A more fairer comparison would to be to measure that footprint and then compare it with Fairview malls. So like others say add in the surrounding buildings.

Good point, I more meant that Parkway Forest across the street already has a dozen or so - more thinking in terms of the critical mass of people that will be at this intersection.

But you're right, the STC site has a number of adjacent properties.

I wonder if the Oriole GO station would get better use as the population increases, as it's only one subway stop away
Speaking of which, the application for relocation is now six years old. Makes you wonder what's the hold up.

This whole plan frankly is atrocious: the podiums are abysmally hulking, the streetwall is bad, ground level is laughable with some laughably bad retail layouts with the oh so pointless/waste of space ground floor amenity space, the POPs is a waste of space and pointless, and I wont even get started on the towers which wont see a lick of any of those colours asides from white and/or black and grey.

Given the very high likelihood that this will be next to an interchange station when the Ontario Line inevitably gets extended north - completely agree. Way more attention needs to be paid to how this meets the street. I don't mind the tower architecture/colours, if they happen,, but that's a brutal street presence
