It would look a lot better if the east "tower" cladding was red instead of white, continue the theme of the podium. Last thing our skyline needs is more bluey grey glass. The approach on the Lakeshore East GO train is welcomed by an amorphous blob of blah these days.

I agree completely that the east tower lends itself to turning red.

If not, why not 86 the notion that the centre glass (curtain-wall?) is fooling us into believing these are 2 towers... and splash that with colour ?

(the blue/grey cult shudders at the thought).

Kind of like The Whitfield?

Posts regarding parking at the eventually possibly maybe redeveloped 45 The Esplanade have been moved to a new thread... in the Individual Projects Section, as parking spaces will be of concern to current residents at 25 The Esplanade whose spaces are at 45.

So, the new thread is linked in the Database box at the top of this and every page of this thread, or just click here.

No more posts re: the parking situation in this thread please.

They are fixing the drain pipes in the parking garage. I guess they are not tearing it down anytime soon.

Plugged froze drain pipes? Or salt water run off from the cars. Very strange.
I wonder who suggested they fix his? Hmmm.

lol. I lightly tapped one of those pipes and parts of it just fell apart. I’m pretty sure they replaced the majority of the pipes a while back. Looks like they are replacing the last ones.
