Toronto 400 Front Street | 195.75m | 60s | State Building Group | Kirkor

i was very happy that the developer was given the permission to build 200m buildings. but now i think whoever gave them the permission, should have lowered the height permisison to 100m. these eyesores will be prominent.

They keep on changing things and I don't think it's for the better! The building are more broader and generic. I thought there going to keep them slim so light can penetrate between the two buildings for the park's sake! Come on Developers !!

Is it good? No. But compared to Kirkor's prior standard of work, it is an improvement. The wrap-around balconies are also a good choice for their ability to hide the expected spandrel mess that is sure to lurk behind.

this is offensive. It is upsetting that such a prominent location, beside a premier square, heritage district and future outdoor mall (the well) couldn't conjure more creativity and ambition. I would rather it remain an underutilized parking lot than to have this wasted potential materialized
