A little kitschy, a little tacky. I wouldn't want this sort of faux historicism everywhere, but despite it all, given the good execution, I don't mind it here.
I like it as well. Not that I would like the whole city to look like this.However at least we can categorize this architecturally as Faux Historic.
What do we call all the (many) glass boxes architecturally?.... 'Engineered for Accountants Bland"... 'Early Century Blah'. ...' Duh Squared'?
From my understanding, all substantial exterior work has been completed. When I visited the building last time there were a couple cars parked along its side road entrance, so I assume some residents have began to move in. Although most of it appeared uninhabited, so there's likely still some interior work remaining in the building.
