Just remember that our city gave the OKAY for the site plan. Most of the cities in southern Ontario won't allow the terrible site plans that are allowed here.

The city cares more about the implementing the height restriction that make actually making suggestions that will improve developments and the urban environment.

We didn't for cobalt either - they basically released it when they were almost done. They still had the old render up on their actual signage.. which is messed up lol..

Oh good! They actually did finally paint the concrete bases of the rounded part of the hotel.. that was bugging me for a long time lol..
Also not gonna lie, this is an ugly looking building - even the formwork is ugly lol.. I feel like I'm looking at the back of the building when I'm looking at the front of it..

Soooo, they are going to paint that concrete monolith? Please tell me they are going to skin it in something pretty.

It will definitely be getting cladding, likely spandrel. They aren't high enough up yet to start on that.
