The overwhelming majority of setbacks/stepbacks in this city involve stepping back the building from the yellowbelt (low rise residential) and not parks. I can appreciate the desire to step back (transition) from a park but the stepbacks from the yellowbelt are ridiculous, and the city is starting to realize it, that's why they're currently reviewing the transition performance standards. https://secure.toronto.ca/council/agenda-item.do?item=2023.PH4.7The point of setbacks is to preserve the usability of public parks. Disagree that they're bad for society
