That has to be temporarily. I can't see them keeping those screens black in 3 or 4 months from now.

An overall excellent building, IMO. While it's not everyone's tastes...I do feel its shape and quality adds a distinct organic feel for it. And it stands out from the influx of boring residential glass box towers we've been inundated with over the recent years. A breath of fresh air, IMO...and thumbs way up for this!

No, TD recently replaced the 4 sided sign at the top of the TD/Canada Trust/Brookfield Place building with an electronic screen version.

Thanks, I didn't know that. But over the past few years I did notice that on a few occasions the logo went black (I could see Brookfield Place from my perch as well). I thought they covered it with a black cloth or something lol. Then the next day it would change colours, usually red, to commemorate an event.

It does seem that the TD sign is now permanently turned on. Though I don't think TD is very close to actually moving in.

I saw a building security guard parked at the fort desk last week. I assume the building is “semi-open”.
