Photos taken mid-day Monday, September 20th. I now realize that the scaffolding that had gone up in two locations for three stories along the north elevator shaft were to anchor the new support arms for the crane. At least that's my thinking. To another question earlier, yes they are pouring concrete for the floors. In some of the photos before the tarp goes on you can see the concrete floors.

Can someone more versed in construction explain to me what all the black plastic wrap is for? There sure seems to be a lot of it....

I believe it is to seal off the elements (rain etc) while they pour the concrete floors on top of the metal decking.

Also so that they can spray fireproofing foam/material on the steel structure.

I see a lot of photos with PCL logos in them. I guess the PCL police are on vacation, or have given up their fruitless endeavour.
