Queenston is one of the roughest looking streets in all of Niagara so hopefully this development and the ambitious project on the former General Hospital site will help turn this street around for the better.

It's one of the few streets in Niagara that I would say is not only sad to view/witness during the day but actually kinda unnerving late at night.

All of the downtown/inner city detriments (criminals, sex workers, drug addicts, homeless) converge on or near Queenston St. Since St. Catharines is easily the largest city in Niagara, this is where the highest concentration of less fortunate/impoverished folks is located and the government/or not for profit services trying to assist them.

Agreed Queenston St is one of the most rough streets i've ever seen in my life from an illicit activity perspective. Literally everything goes on there wide in the open in the middle of the day.

I thought I witnessed things when I lived in Hamilton in the past, but a walk through Queenston St in St.Catharines was just another experience in and of itself.

The above reporting has me questioning where @Towered has been the last 2 decades on this file.

I mean as UT's Chief Voyeur of the Illicit and Questionable, one might have expected him to have a patio here somewhere.
