1354 Gordon Street: a proposed 8-storey mixed-use rental apartment & retail building designed by SRM Architects for Sovereign Asset Management (operating as "1354 Gordon Street Inc") on the southeast corner of Gordon Street and Arkell Road in Guelph's Hamilton Corner neighbourhood.

OPA/ZBA approved at council in September 2022.

Man... Arkell Road is so cool. Used to take that road east just to back-road it for awhile before getting back onto the hideous 401. Plenty of nice photographic subjects along that road. Strange to think of all the development happening in and around that corner in the last ten years. This is a pretty beefy proposal but considering everything else that's been happening in Guelph, it comes as no surprise. As a proposal it looks solid enough I suppose, but as proposed it displays very little character.
