Toronto 119-127 Church Street | 193.15m | 59s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

I find these cantilevered designs often lead to clumsy looking buildings. The jumbled base really doesn't help things either.

And with regards to the brick, it can be done when there's a willingness. PJ Condos, the Selby to name a couple. Unfortunately though @ProjectEnd is right when it comes to general development culture in the city, the willingness is often lacking.

Pj and Selby are thin brick tiles embedded in precast panels. Centrecourt is at the whim of their private equity growth fund. They must deliver and in a timely fashion to keep building more and more. . Mizrahi had willingness. Where is he now?

Developers can self finance $20 million but not $150 million

Posting to scare Toronto architects (and centrecourt) 👻👻👻

Centrecourt and IBI's white and black formula is rather tired. I'm aware of the state of things in the city, brick builds like this aren't really ever going to happen /sigh.

Seems someone at Spotlight decided my version was better... If that means more brick I'm all for it! 🤣

(Thanks @Paclo for pointing this out to me!)

It's also around the net now, whoops again! I seem to have a bit of a thing for this!
