Edit -- whoa, some lofty sustainability goals here:
In addition to pursuing Tier 3 of The City of Toronto Green Standard, we are exploring the feasibility of becoming the first condominium in the city to achieve Passive House standards.

Holy. That looks amazing.

Thankfully, this is coming from Devron, who has a portfolio that includes The Winslow and The Vanguard, which are similar styles. So I have confidence that this isn't going to be too watered down in the end.

The Vanguard is a hilarious cheapout version of One St. Thomas which misses everything that building got right. The podium / at-grade portions are especially atrocious.

We have a front page story up where, among other things, Marc Mitanis follows the history of the building, and there's now a database file attached at the top of the page.

Wow.

A beautiful restoration and a fitting tower on top. It of course could turn out badly with the wrong materials, but this may be my favourite proposal of 2020.

I wish more historical structures would get the same treatment, instead of dropping a giant glass box on top of them.
