I'm not sure being dramatic for the lack of being dramatic is entirely a bad thing...+1. People r being over dramatic. It's not the best design but it's not that bad, doesnt deserve all that hate. I mean how often do we get golden in Toronto.
I'm not anti-bridge when it is for the purpose of PATH expansion rather than for connecting parking garages (which kills CBD street vibrancy).Bridges. Why? Is this Calgary in 1975?
PATH expansion kills street vibrancy. The PATH is the antidote to street life. Many people in Toronto urbanism don’t seem to see this, but it’s true.I'm not anti-bridge when it is for the purpose of PATH expansion rather than for connecting parking garages (which kills CBD street vibrancy).
The bridge to the Weston makes sense as a condition of sale as it connects the conference spaces to the hotel.. and can you really lease a million square feet downtown this close to Union without a PATH connection?Bridges. Why? Is this Calgary in 1975?
