Toronto 100 Queens Quay at Sugar Wharf | 117.34m | 25s | Menkes | B+H

I definitely grasp those points. But I still think this could turn out well. If they were to use a green (think lcbo green) or a black tinted glass I'd be thrilled.

55 Lake Shore refers to the whole of the residential development planned here.

It's nothing groundbreaking but it's far from horrible.

We haven't yet seen the design for any of the buildings except the new LCBO tower.

There are elevations and other drawings in the development application to the city which anybody can take a look at, and these show a (very schematic) design for the residential towers.

I don't have a lot of faith in what tenants desire and what the developers build so I don't really care about the office tower. I'm more concerned with the six, twice as tall, residential towers. Be nice to have a different, firm for each.

I hope they will make something pretty with that building.
Some colors will be a great addition to this area.
:)

The plan here went to the Waterfront Toronto Design Review Panel yesterday, and we've got a write-up on the front page about it. The plan has changed: one tower is gone, others are taller… and more! Seriously, read the story.
