I can confirm that cormorants are nesting on the Islands this year, as well as Egret and the Bald Eagles have returned as well.

The Toronto archives are busily digitising more of their map collections and I came on this interesting one and to see the 'proposed Boulevard Drive" that ran across BOTH the Western Channel and the Eastern Gap!!
