The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

I know this is the Tim's pile-on thread..........LOL

But since we discussed Wendy's adding breakfast here previously........they put out their new menu today........

In order: Heart attack, gross, I doubt its good, but maybe

Maybe they really are trying to break into the US market again. Smother that with gravy, swap the coffee for a milkshake or 80oz big slurp and the fries for grits or beans and you've got a US-style fast food breakfast. Maybe have a super-size option.

We're discussing Wendy's here, not Tim's.

Wendy's already has a substantial U.S. presence and a breakfast menu (or what they pass off as such)

The U.S. menu is pretty similar, but as noted previously in discussions, pop w/breakfast is a thing down there:

Pop with breakfast is a thing here too. Have it daily.
Pepsi and a cigarette, the Quebec breakfast!

But it makes sense to people going to Wendy's at 9:00 a.m. who actually are on their lunch break, like factory or warehouse workers who start their workday at 5:00 a.m., or earlier, so these menu items offer something appealing to morning commuters and those who have been awake for five or six hours already.
