Just want to bring the thread drift (in the East Danforth thread) into its proper place.

According to the profile of ward 29, the Greek presence was still pretty strong in the area between Danforth and O'Connor. About 15% of the population of the ward - by far the highest anywhere. So it was mistake on my part to compare the Danforth to Little Italy. Decent Albanian and Serbian presence too, as others have noted.

Do we really need another thread for this? The Riverdale thread has always captured the west Danforth - it doesn't make a lot of sense to have discussion of one side of the street in one thread, and the other side in yet another thread. Leave the discussion where it has always been. We already have an Old East York thread for anything a few blocks to the north. That just leaves three mainly residential blocks of the old City of Toronto to the north of the Danforth. Maybe just add the words Danforth or Danforth/Greektown to the name of the Riverdale thread. But I don't personally think we need to scatter the discussion beyond the three existing threads that we already have.

Necro'ing a 9 year dormant thread to ask if anyone knows anything about the "Ecole Napoleon" building just west of Broadview. My sharp-eyed kid noted that there are Macedonian and Greek flags flying. Google Maps shows a development application sign, but nothing on the UT map there.
