The 23 at Baby Point (441 Jane Street @ Hanley, Terra Firma, 4s, TACT)

We had our inspection today and were only notified when we arrived that we would not be granted occupancy tomorrow. Their "best guess" is next Friday. Very poor communication.
Did anyone get to see the parking garage? Will the parking garage be secure or will it be open to anyone to walk in like the common hallways?

Also had my inspection yesterday - it seemed premature, given how dirty and unfinished the place was. They made some fundamental changes that weren't conveyed to us, as well as reverting back to the original plans vs. a planned re-arrangement we had with the washer/dryer - pretty disappointed about that. That nook upstairs that could've been used for storage is now pretty useless, due to the wall and door for the utility room. That being said, the place looks pretty good. The fridge and especially the oven are comically small, too, while the fridge and microwave aren't Porter & Charles, which we were told it was.

Still seems bizarre that the place can be delayed, and they only let you know the day before that they are bumping it - that should be illegal - so many moving parts to sort out with a last minute notice. This also happened to me.

I came across this in the Tarion agreement: "Delayed closing compensation is payable from 10 days before the Firm Closing Date (i.e., an additional $1,500 (10 days x $150) if your builder fails to give you at least 10 days notice of a Closing delay)." I asked my lawyer if this means we'll get an additional $1500 on top of the $150/day. He said no. I think it is wrong that they have carte blanche to tell you the day before, regardless of whether it has been delayed or not, or else why set a new date?

Anyway, rant aside, regarding the garage, I requested to go down there. There are 2 stairwells - one in the northeast corner and one in the southwest corner (off of Jane). The NE one isn't fully covered, and this could be problematic when it is snowy. Both sets of doors will require keys (or maybe a fob but I think it is a key), and we'll use our room keys to access it. There is (going to be) bike parking down there, although it is unclear about whether it will be first come first serve or reserved, or how many spaces. I was wondering if we could install hanging bike wall mounts at the ends of our parking spaces (Maybe a condo corp question once we form one)

Browsing through some older threads, I noticed that no one ever posted a set of pics of this project once fully complete.

Therefore, for posterity, here are some taken today:
