The TDSB has 22 trustee seats. Ford's resignation will trigger its fourth by-election in a span of roughly 8 months.

I'd run for school trustee, but will unlikely be elected because they're going to find out that the last time I attended a public school was in 1991. I spent my middle and high school years at an independent school. :S #noprivateschoolbrats

And you probably don't even have a pilot's license.

Let's not forget there is now also a trustee slot open in TDSB Ward 1. My top bets for candidates are one of the K***a Fords (because what this point why the fuck not) and Domise.

Barring any Fords, would Neil Flagg still be interested?

Makes me almost glad he is running in Ward 2 uncontested at the moment.

If he will vote in favour of bike lanes and stuff, that is better than whatever other clown the folks in Ward 2 would otherwise elect.

Speaking of trustees, does anyone know how I can change my taxes/ who I vote for to the Conseil Scolaire Viamonde? I am Franco-Ontarien from Northern Ontario and moved here 2 years ago, and when I voted in the municipal election at the time, I had TDSB on my ballot and didn't bother asking to change anything as I was in a rush.

Trustee sorry for playing "Words With Friends" during public meeting
A Toronto school board trustee is apologizing after being caught playing “Words With Friends” on her smartphone during a public meeting on Tuesday.

Ward 13 trustee Gerri Gershon said in email she was playing the game “for about two to three minutes” during the meeting at John Fisher Junior Public School, as parents and trustees discussed the planned development of an apartment tower next to the Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave. East-area school.
