I've always been curious as to the number of dedicated parking spaces downtown, I found some articles that point to the development of surface lots over the last 40 years that is quite interesting.
Map TO came up with an estimate of approximately 40% of the surface lots which have been redeveloped from 1978 to 2019. Its not exact science but an interesting indication of how far development has come.
