I live on the eastern edge of Mimico, so it's always great to see the rest of the hood.
It's interesting how thoroughly gentrified the eastern edge of Mimico is (where the condos start) and how the western edge has escaped it, for now. I'm sure that Mimico will flourish once again.

Nice pictures. Mimico is certainly one of those areas that's undervalued today.

Mimico truly has a bright future... The location vis a vis downtown is perfect, commutes are short, the neighbourhood is abundant with parks and the waterfront promenade is probably the finest on the Toronto waterfront besides the downtown portion. The nabe greatly lacks good eateries, cafes, bars and stores. That is changing though, as recently as a few weeks ago, new gentrified stores are popping up all over the Lakeshore strip.

more great work from you! my fave is the deep orange sky in photo #5 though the one from a similar angle with the lightning is very cool too...
