Star: Leafs to make a logo change

Wow. That really is the trend that cop cars everywhere have been going in as of late. It does seem to have started in the 'burbs. Just like the 'big A' ambulance scheme, it looks too... corporate.

Yah, the new police livery is crass and corporate and not very "official" looking. I hate them. They don't even say the full proper name of the organization: Toronto Police Service. And there's some cheesy 50s font (is it 50s Adma?) that doesn't match the rest of the look and says "to serve and protect."

Also, white type on a white background isn't the smartest idea if readability counts - even with outline.

Looks like a logo for a brand of toothpaste.

So whatever happened to this? I haven't seen any new logo...

They unveil the new jersey Sept. 14th! No one knows for sure if it will be a new logo, but the jersey should have some new features.

Oh nice.. I like the logo in Smucky's second picture but I think it could use some more refining. A more edgy angular logo would be welcome. I look forward to Sept. 14th.

I must admit...I think I may have to buy the new flames jersey....
and I hope the new leafs jerseys are not as lame as those two...cuz those really are ultra-ugly especially the second one..

really? i find the calgary jersey's horrible. those 2 flags on the shoulders are just...argh. it looks like the jersey's in the european leagues with their ads all over their bodies.
