No matter how one slices and dices it, Sheraton Centre is an eyesore.

I’m actually starting to like the tower. The base is horrible and needs to be opened up to the street.
 
^ I agree; this tower actually looks somewhat elegant. It wouldn't be built today of course, but it speaks of the 60s when cleaner lines and a generous use of poured concrete were in style.

The way it "meets the street" is poor to put it mildly, again reflecting a characteristic of the time when such things were not much thought of. Surely a makeover of the main level on the Queen Street side, and the Richmond St. side for that matter, is long overdue.
 
Sadly, despite all the renovations, nothing is planned for the Queen Street street-level facade.
