There is no wall.

Thank You!

From the article:

In response to questions, WE told the Star it will sell assets owned by ME to WE Foundation and put the revenues into the same endowment as those from the sale of WE Charity’s assets.

WE said that it had not yet decided what to do with the three storefronts on Queen St. E owned by Me to We Asset Holdings.

Wow. A nice land assembly at Queen and Parliament is now up for sale.

The above company's principle is Stefano Tognarelli of Newpoint/Silverpoint.

^Thanks and not surprised. Does the company own the entire block from Parliament to Berkeley? If so this would be quite large.

December 2, 2025 –Toronto Public Library (TPL) has purchased a building at 339 Queen Street East, at the corner of Queen and Parliament, to house a new district library branch to replace the current neighbourhood St. Lawrence branch located at 171 Front Street. This relocation is in response to rapid population growth and increased demand for expanded library services in this part of the city. The new branch will primarily serve the neighbourhoods of St. Lawrence, Moss Park and Corktown.

It is clear from this press release that TPL include to CLOSE the current St Lawrence Branch when this one opens. I hope they can be persuaded to continue to have a branch somewhere south of QUEEN STREET between Yonge and Parliament as this area will be very 'under-libraried'.

Agreed, the city still needs to find a way to bring another branch closer east of the South Core area/or Waterfront East area.
