So as luck would have it, I was able to learn what these things do @TwinHuey . Apparently, it is to speed up the flow of water to prevent it from freezing. This is where Sawmill creek empties into the credit river at the southeast corner of Dundas street and Mississauga road. MCC on a very overcast day last weekend.

Family Day Weekend 2024. The drone stayed at home with gusty conditions Saturday and Sunday. Today, the temperature was -5. I could have flown but I had the wife and little one with me. We went to Port Credit Memorial park and here are some photos of the ice sculptures and the newly opened skate trail.

Since it was lunchtime, we headed across the street to Snug Harbour - a Port Credit institution since 1996!

The year long rebuild of the seawall and boat launch on the west side of the Credit river is almost complete.
