...does anyone know why the ceiling is higher and un-vaulted t/w the west end of the platform? And why that fat "pier" in the middle? It doesn't seem to conform to any uniqueness I can sense above ground, unless it's an extension to the footings for the Sherbourne bridge over Rosedale Valley...
