Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Buses can exit at Yonge St. Go North on Yonge to Pointz and then around to Sheppard W back to Yonge St or go to Work Mills.
In my mind, a 1 km diversion from the rest of the route is only justifiable for an express bus or a long-distance GO route.

Sheppard would be my choice for the stop over York Mills, so that bus bays emptied out by the Line 4 west extension can be filled again, with stops in the eastern direction at Leslie, either or both of Vic Park/Kennedy, Scarborough Centre, Morningside, and ending at Pickering GO.

Missing centennial college at Markham would be a big missed opportunity

I did consider Centennial College, but I felt like it was too close to Scarborough Centre to make sense at a stop. On second thought, the distance between McCowan and Morningside is pretty big, so if the stop was shifted onto Progress instead, right on Centennial's doorstep, that wouldn't be so bad.

With the campuses proximity to the highway a transitway stop could probably be designed with minimal impacts on travel time. Likely at the expense of passenger experience however

Sheppard is difficult since there is no place to build a bus loop. The last undeveloped piece of land is at the south side at Johnston and Yonge and there is a laneway behind the building. You could widen it to build a bus loop. OR expropriate the Eggsmart and weedshop to build a bus loop there. I guess you could build it on Lord Seaton but there are not any connections to anything and it wouldn't serve anything.

There is already a bus terminal...
