I don't ride on Queen's Quay often, but have experienced the dismal "priority signals" a few times in the past.
However, I've had reason to be on a streetcar twice in the past week and both times it seemed the streetcar signals were much more responsive than I remember in the past. Several times the streetcar signal turned green as we aproached intersections, not 15 seconds later like normal. I triple checked and it was never because a streetcar in the opposite direction had tripped the signal. I know this can happen as a fluke sometimes, but this seemed much different.
Any frequent 510/509 riders care to comment?
