Gloria Lindsay Luby - General Government
Howard Moscoe - Licensing and Standards
Paula Fletcher - Parks and Environment
Brian Ashton - Planning and Growth Management
Glenn De Baermaeker - Public Works and Infrastructure

No surprises or new faces to the leadership team.

That's three old Toronto people (Rae, Fletcher, Mihevc - though he has part of York), one Etobicoke (Lindsay Luby), two Scarberians, one North Yorker.

Not exactly the downtown-centric committee. Mammoliti and Caroll are North Yorkers also on the exec committee, Norm Kelly a Scarberian, McConnell from Downtown.

Mayor - "Downtown"
Deputy- "Downtown"

Exec committee - 4+2 "Downtown", 7 Suburbian.

Sort that one out.

Oh, and at least the TTC is finally a Moscoe free zone. Poor taxi drivers and hot dog cart vendors.

Paula Fletcher - Parks and Environment

huh? if Withrow Park is any idea, how is she going to handle this portfolio? The park has gone downhill since she's been councilor in Ward 30.
Now she will be in charge of all parks in the city. This is worse than I thought.

Kelly does seem like an especially odd choice.

Maybe he's seen as right enough so as to appease critics, and a do-nothing enough so as not to rock the boat.

Did Mike Del Grande get any decent appointments? The CBC had Walker and Holyday complaining today about the choices.

Giambrone is TTC Chair, BTW. I was hoping for Mihevc.
