New GO Transit Locomotives

I should probably restate part of my last post-i should have written creosotes instead of arsenic - but I believe that arsenic is part of the chemical compound.

Nonetheless, highly poisonous and a product which doesn't deserve to see the light of day.

I luck out by taking the hour early train to Aldershot at noon.

They do look very nice, in my opinion.

I was able to ride into Oakville on one of these bad boys last week. Not the first time I have seen one in action. Noticed them a couple times running east and west on the Lakeshore W line. When I have seen it in action I have noticed that they were running the train with one old and one new locomotive. I guess with the earlier reported problems, they are playing it safe. Lord only knows, as a very pro transit individual, even I am getting annoyed with the delays.

I wish I had of known I was riding on it at the time, I only noticed when exiting. I wonder if the ride is any smoother, or quicker, to the average john q. transit rider? Would there be a discernible difference?
