Montgomery looking towards Yonge. The old houses the lady is walking in front of are still there. The wooden building with 2 windows was a fire hall and still is though now brick.

Wow, did they have a sleeping car for that trip?

Lake Simcoe isn't that far. There was hardly any traffic in those days once you left the city so the streetcars could move pretty fast.
