Mowat & Hearst Block Exterior Renovations

Most of the area in front of the Mowat block (s/w corner of Bay & Wellesley) is complete. Some landscaping and bench refurbishments are still incomplete but it's mostly done and looks sensational. So much better than it did prior. I believe this began in spring of 2008. The areas around four sides of the Hearst Block and the west side of the Mowat block are slated to be completed for fall 2009.

Below is the south, east, north and central areas of the nearly completed Mowat Block exterior renovation. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the project turns out.

Landscaping Renovations Complete

Landscape improvements around the Mowat, Hearts, Macdonald, Ferguson & Whitney Blocks now appear complete. This is the area roughly bordered by Bay, Queens Park Cresc. E., Wellesley and Grosvenor Streets. October is not a great time to document the improvements here, perhaps I'll revisit it next summer.
