If they just ran a bus between Humber and Finch West station directly with no stops, it would be faster and cheaper than the LRT.
All I'm saying is looking at the travel time between Humber and Finch West station on it's own is a bit of an oversimplification. End-to-end speed isn't the only factor. Sometimes you actually want a slower transit line because you want the stops to be closer together.

They do. GO Transit route 35. Humber College to Yorkdale statoin in 24 minutes.

There already is a limited stop bus between Humber and the airport. The frequency is kinda meh and they cut it back to Westwood Mall after the school year winds down, but there's the beginning of something there.
Mentioning the 107 made me wonder if a better LRT route might be had if by extending further west to Westwood Mall, then south to Malton GO station and down Airport Road to Pearson. You'd miss Woodbine and omit the need for a new GO station, which depending on what happens or doesn't happen there in terms of a casino, mightn't be much of a loss. Alternately, head south to the Woodbine front gate/Woodbine Shopping Centre, then west along Rexdale Blvd to Malton GO, then south along Airport Road.
Worth bearing in mind that a new Woodbineish GO station on the rail corridor is nowhere near the Woodbine grandstand, the potentially-expanded casino, and the potential redevelopment lands that were mooted as part of Woodbine Live --- there's over a kilometre of racetrack and stables in between as the crow flies, more if you're circumnavigating.

I think it should be a TTC route like 192 Airport rocket and run down highway 427. That way Finch W LRT becomes a useful route to the airport without years of design, EAs and construction.

Interesting, I didn't know about this.
You know I always thought that would be best route to the airport for the Finch LRT. It could also connect to Woodbine Mall and also Woodbine Casino/racetrack. With the connection to Malton Go, it could help those who don't want to pay for the UP Express to transfer there to the LRT and head to the airport. Also any people taking GO trains from the west (Brampton, Kitchener, etc.) would be able to connect at Malton GO to get to the airport.
As for Westwood Mall, which route would you take to get there from Humber College because it seems to me it would make the journey too long.

That doesn't seem to go to the airport... I was talking about a bus connection so that Finch W LRT users can get to Pearson.

Why not just check Google Transit. I've never taken it to either, and it tells me very quickly.

I tried to check this in Google Transit - but I couldn't get it to give me the 2022 schedule.
I'd assume there'd be appropriate signage at the terminus of Line 6 to figure it out.

They must have got bored only listing 14 previous announcements, as there's at least 2 more between 2012 and 2015 - probably more.

They could extend the Finch West LRT to Malton GO station.
And where is the first place people look when they are searching for this information? For me personally, its wikipedia.
Would it be worth it for UrbanToronto to create something? A standalone transit site or section?
