I think many people have speculated about Keesmaat dipping her toe into politics. There were some rumblings that the Liberals approached her to run as a 'star candidate' in October but she turned it down.
Also: what's with "the best time you can have in Toronto with your clothes on" comment? You know that lots of people proudly disrobe at the various marches and main parade, right Mayor Tory? Either way, it's good to have our municipal leader endorsing one of the city's biggest and most important events.
As I see it, most people that are mad at Tory is because he is not (so far) the messiah who will lead them out of bondage in Ford Nation's land.So. when does the "John Tory Must Go" group start? People seems as mad at him as they were towards Rob.
He also appointed Byford.Let's remember that Keesmaat was actually "Ford approved"--and probably by providential virtue of her husband having played high school football w/RoFo. Sometimes, smart things happen by dumb accident.
Harper in Toronto for transit announcement
Mayor John Tory could find out Thursday whether his SmartTrack sales pitch to Prime Minister Stephen Harper has paid off.
Harper will be in Toronto for a “significant” federal funding announcement at the TTC’s Hillcrest complex with Tory and Finance Minister Joe Oliver...

Tory must GO would be a great slogan.

That's only because he wanted to jam her.
Remember though, that he has enough to eat at home.I was about to say you're thinking on Stintz, but maybe it's true of Keesmaat as well. Maybe they all merge into one amorphous blonde for Ford.
