Location
Mississauga, where cars rule city growth
I will leave this to the mod as how they want to handle this

I will post a few of the photo's I shot and the rest can be view on youtube.

The lack of sun and late in the day didn't help trying to catch what is taking place and decided to try it at a later date.

There needs to be another bus stop than the one that there now as well planning on some local service, otherwise this will be a car city.

Some are a bit bland, but some are quite promising, the red brick ones especially. Wish Cambridge had something like this along Highway 24.

Notice the difference between, say, the second and fourth photos...amazing what a few trees will do to spruce up a whole bunch of beigey grey. Downtown Markham may be won or lost on the basis of the landscaping and streetscaping.

Cathedraltown is turning out rather awful, which is a shame but not surprising.

Architecturally, not bad at all. Crisp lines. Decent materials. Restrained historicism. I'm pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the pics.

Is that asphalt to the right a sidewalk or a bicycle path? I'm guessing that they discourage the workers from riding their bicycles, walking, or taking transit to the work sites.

Why does it matter? That asphalt is most likely temporary...

On that bicycle note, does this place have a plan for a bicycle lane or something of the sort?

Some oldies

Been browsing UT here for couple weeks now and thought I'd start posting. Here are some pictures I took back in 2006, they aren't the greatest pictures but you can still make it out. These were taken on Enterprise Blvd.

I'm not sure were that white house disappeared too. Judging from Google Streets, its not there.

Here are more pictures taken on October 18. You can see Markham Downtown developing in the distance.
