Reving this thread to share the Mirvish annoucement that was mooted about in the 645 Yonge thread by @longfortheoldview

Its not a new venue.

Rather, the return of "The Lion King" musical to Toronto, in an original production, open-ended run at Princes of Wales starting in November '24.

Not my thing, but actually big deal to see Toronto return to open-ended productions. We haven't had many in the post-Drabinsky era.

Theatre season is looking a bit more promising this year in general. Six was a blast, Looking forward to Les Mis, always one of my faves.
