Amazing and creative house/laneway combo on Argyle just east of Dufferin. Taken 7 August.

This cladding looks awfully cheap, like with many laneway houses. I wonder if it'll also heat up on hot days and make its surroundings even hotter and less comfortable.
Seriously, this stuff looks like it was spec'd from the bargain bin of a hardware store. Pre-dented too, of course, because it's probably thinner than a soda can.

Saw this and thought that it merited attention here. It is a bit hard to tell but the container is on stilts leaving an open space below. On Roncesvalles near Queen. Love it! Taken 8 September.

Really great example going up on Landsdowne north of College. The nifty feature is that they have dug down 1m to create a very nice ground floor space. And I bet that the setup could be used as a small performance space with a stage and overflow seating on the sunken terrace! Other features are polished concrete floors and miniature skylights on the second, 2 bedroom level. Taken 13 September.
