Fear not Brian, Wikipedia will put them all out of business soon enough. Librarys too. No more turnstiles, the people will chant, no more turnstiles.

Also read Rebecca Solnit's "Wanderlust: A History of Walking" - a chapter is dedicated to labyrinths, and walking-as-ritual sort of thing. Pilgrimages etc. In general, Wanderlust is a fantastic book.

I loved that grass labyrinth, but I agree it wasn't attractive at all. Great to see the project get funding.
