LA | Fitness has just opened its first standard format fitness centre in northeast Brampton (Airport Rd & Bovaird), which is also its 300th gym in North America. The concept started 25 years ago in Los Angeles. You've probably seen some of the recent conversion centres (Oakville, Mississauga & Brampton) that were old gyms they acquired and renovated. The next fitness club will open later this year on Don Mills Rd just south of York Mills. They will revolutionize the health club industry in the GTA...and I hope you can visit one and see for yourselves.
