Though there is a great deal of overlap, King-Parliament is different from St Lawrence or Corktown and I am creating this thread primarily to discuss the City's plans to (finally!) update the King-Parliament Secondary Plan. Details are at: https://www.toronto.ca/city-governm...atives/king-parliament-secondary-plan-review/
My first reaction is that more thought needs to be given to the area's boundaries - in particular the First Parliament site should not be only partly inside the K-P area and the area of the plan should, maybe, mirror the boundaries of the St Lawrence Heritage Conservation District (plus, of course, further east) for its area east of Jarvis (which would also deal with the First Parliament split as all of that site - though not Parliament Square Park - are within the HCD area.)
