I was recently at Olympic stadium and it is truly a work of art.....unfortunately the rush to build it makes the fit and finish a bit lacking. But still, it is awesome...

Another "work of art" at the Montreal Olympics in 1976 was the Velodrome (particularly when viewed from above).
This was shot from an "old-fashioned" helicopter - long before the days of drones.
