Well, I suppose I should have been more explicit about what appeals to me: this roller coaster sculpture is the kind of imaginative thing which *might* be done on the waterfront, a ferris wheel is just a ferris wheel in comparison...
People are complaining about the slowness of waterfront development in Toronto, but to me, it's all good if it avoids the ghastly developer-driven monster condo mess of Harbourfront and the more recent precincts west of that.
