Lisbon Portugal.Where is that picture from?
Who will be operating this LRT line?
Transdev will be the operator as part of the Mobilinx consortium that won the DBOFM contract (they also won Finch LRT).
Hitachi-Ansaldo and Astaldi will be doing day-to-day vehicle and station maintenance.
According to the (Progressive) Conservatives, the private sector can do no wrong. As long as they get a profit of course.
I guess the question can also be asked, will it be branded Miway service, or Zum/Brampton transit service?Who will be operating this LRT line?
It will be branded like the crosstown and finch west LRTs as a Metrolinx line which the livery will be the very colourful and iconic, um.. grey and white. Hurontario will probably have the logo of the private operator instead of the small TTC Logo on the crosstown vehiclesI guess the question can also be asked, will it be branded Miway service, or Zum/Brampton transit service?

Hey, Metrolinx only wants to match the current surroundings of the region. Grey & white trains pair great with grey & white condo towers, and with grey & white winters.Doesn't matter much who operates the line. But the grey & white color scheme I guess we don't get enough of those colors naturally during the winter months ..
