Could be a good time to do it now for the LRT station. Now is this also for the parking structure and buildings?

Port Credit GO – About 50 parking spaces closed in the southeast parking lot

Port Credit GO passengers: On July 23 and 24, about 50 parking spaces will be closed in the southeast parking lot adjacent to Hurontario Street. Our contractor will be drilling boreholes in the lot. We need to do this to work in preparation for future improvements at your station. There is still plenty of parking available for customers. Please be careful around construction equipment and fenced off areas until this work is complete.

Face coverings now mandatory on GO Transit.

Every day. Every train. Every bus. Every trip. Everyone.

Hopefully we get the CCTT situation resolved and the lrt can serve the terminal, otherwise this whole project is just the rail version of the 103

Also will brampton and missisauga have both their monthly passes applicable for the POP system on the lrt? I’m surprised it isn’t the case already for the 502 and the 103/17 respectively (as well as 18 and 5/185 on dixie) to have this integration compared to the viva orange and the 501 situation in vaughan where both BT and YRT fares can be used on both agencies and that’s for buses in 2 completely different regions while missisauga and brampton are in 1 and that’s ridiculous

Who will be operating this LRT line?

Transdev will be the operator as part of the Mobilinx consortium that won the DBOFM contract (they also won Finch LRT).

Hitachi-Ansaldo and Astaldi will be doing day-to-day vehicle and station maintenance.

According to the (Progressive) Conservatives, the private sector can do no wrong. As long as they get a profit of course.

I guess the question can also be asked, will it be branded Miway service, or Zum/Brampton transit service?
It will be branded like the crosstown and finch west LRTs as a Metrolinx line which the livery will be the very colourful and iconic, um.. grey and white. Hurontario will probably have the logo of the private operator instead of the small TTC Logo on the crosstown vehicles

Doesn't matter much who operates the line. But the grey & white color scheme :( I guess we don't get enough of those colors naturally during the winter months ..

Hey, Metrolinx only wants to match the current surroundings of the region. Grey & white trains pair great with grey & white condo towers, and with grey & white winters.

They're only trying to help make things as depressing as possible!
